Question by Frank: A British national going to Japan for a 4 week language course - is a visa needed?
I'm planning on spending 4 weeks in Japan during the summer to do an intensive language course, but I'm unsure whether or not I'd need to apply for a visa to do this. I've been able to find out that 3+ months of study requires a student visa, but would a regular tourist visa cover the time I spend at the school since it's less than 90 days?
