Kyu Sakamoto performs "Ue o Muite Arukō" (上を向いて歩こう) on Japanese TV in 1984. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the United States in 1963, and was the only Japanese-language song to ever do so. It also went to #18 on the R&B Charts.
